Animal Tracker is moving to Identibase

Animal Tracker is currently transitioning customer accounts and microchip registrations to Identibase. During this changeover, there may be a few bumps while the new registration and different account processes are finalised over the next few weeks.

Existing Animal Tracker services are currently still accessible, and customers will be informed individually as their accounts are migrated across. Existing Animal Tracker implanter accounts should be automatically migrated, with no new implanter verifications needed.

Customers wishing to set up a new Implanter accounts during this transition may experience some changes while the new processes are introduced and will need to show proof of completed implanter training to create their Identibase Implanter account.

We are working to clarify the new arrangements for iDLOGIC customers and will update our guidance and the iDLOGIC website with all the necessary information as soon as everything is confirmed.

Your iDLOGIC microchips are unaffected by the database takeover; however, the process for registering them will change.

Our premium 12mm x 2.12 equine microchips are the ideal microchips for horses and other large animals. They come ready to use, each microchip is ergonomically designed and features a disposable syringe, pre-loaded with an ISO compliant, anti-migration coated 12mm x 2.12mm microchip, housed within a high precision, removable, medical grade sterile needle.

Horses, foals and larger animlas must be microchipped by a qualified veterinary surgeon. These are the largest microchip that we offer and these microchips are suitable for horses, donkeys and other large animals. Please note these are not 826 UK identifiers at present time, so unsuitable for equine export documentation.

When ordering the 12mm x 2.12mm sized microchip, you will be required to confirm the species you will be implanting and identify which Veterinary surgeon you will be using to administer the microchips, if you aren't ordering through a Veterinary practice. iDLOGIC reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders should this information not be supplied when requested. We recommend either our 10mm microchips or 8mm microchips for smaller animals.

iDLOGIC equine microchips are manufactured to EU standards, with biocompatible glass and come with 6 barcode labels relating to the individual chip number, these can be used for microchip registration and record keeping. Each package is sterilized when sealed with an indicator to confirm that complete sterilization has been achieved.

For your convenience, each equine microchip is supplied with instructions for registration, an implanter record sheet, a breeder registration card and a keeper registration card. These microchips can be registered for free to the breeder of the animal on the DEFRA compliant Animal Tracker microchip database.

Please note: Microchipping of horses, donkeys, ponies and other equine animals must be completed by a veterinarian.
